Domestic Production Capabilities
Global Manufacturing Services’ SMT domestic conveyor production equipment can with accuracy place 28,000 chips per hour, per machine. Our standard commercial production set-up allows for surface mount devices as small as .0201, but we have the ability to place .01005 devices when required. Our conveyor SMT system can process boards as small as 1.97” x 2.75” (50mm x 70mm) and up to 20” x 20” (510mm x 508mm) at a thickness range of .008” x .24” (.2mm - 6mm).
CAPABILITIES
- Production Runs - low & mid-volume production runs approximately 500,000 pieces or less.
- High-Speed Pick & Place Machines place up to 28,000 Surface Mount Devices per hour, per line.
- SMD size capabilities – as small as .01005
- Board Sizes - 1.97” x 2.75” (50mm x 70mm) and up to 20” x 20” (510mm x 508mm) at a thickness range of .008” x .24” (.2mm - 6mm).
Our non-conveyor SMT domestic production equipment can with accuracy place 3,600 chips per hour, per machine on complex boards with tight tolerances. These machines place surface mount devices from .0402 to 3” square and offer more than 100 feeder stations allowing for high-volume placement of surface mount devices per board in a single pass. These machines are also equipped with vacuum board supports for increased placement accuracy on boards under the standard .062 thickness.
CAPABILITIES
- Production Runs - low & mid-volume production runs approximately 500,000 pieces or less.
- High-speed placement of complex components with tight tolerances accurately placing up to 3,600 Surface Mount Devices per hour per machine.
- SMD Size Capabilities - .0402 to 3” square,
- Feeder Station per machine – more than 100 for high-volume placement of surface mount devices per board in a single pass. These machines are also equipped with vacuum board supports for increased placement accuracy on boards under the standard .062 thickness.
